The memory of Imogene Alexander of Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on February 11, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Alfred and Lois Cade (Norman); her daughter Lucinda Alexander; her siblings, Willie Alfred Jr., Ellis J. of Hornell, NY, Sidney L., Charles D. Cade of Hartford, CT, Marian White-Elberton of Georgia and Lenora Turner of Bloomfield, CT.; and her son Roy S. Alexander.
She is survived by: her sons, Douglas S. of Decatur and Jeffrey M. (Sonja) of Jacksonville, Fla; her son-in-law Kenneth Bryant of Newington, CT; her daughters, Brenda J Thomas (Gary) and Crystal J. Bryant of Windsor, CT.; her brother Henry L. Cade of Elberton, GA.; her siblings-in-law, Apostle Cheryl Fortson of Bloomfield, CT and Whig Turner; her nieces and nephews, Jewel Allen and Georgette Ruffin; and her close friend Blanche Walton. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carmon Funeral Home (807 Bloomfield Ave, Windsor, CT 06095). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
