She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Countryman-Bey and Annie Countryman-Bey (Jackson); her siblings, Doris Gravey-Bey, Richard, Jerimiah and Eddie Countryman; her sons, Francis, Jr. (Frank), Vernon, Sr., Dennis and Darrell Matthews; her granddaughter Carla Williams; her great grandchild Alexis Geter; and her great great grandchild Reign Price.
She is survived by: her son Derrick Matthews; her granddaughter Renee Matthews; her cousins, Linda Pertillar and Ginger Pertillar; and her daughters-in-law, Debbie Miller-Matthews and Iris Matthews. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, forty-three Great Grandchildren, thirty-eight Great-Great Grandchildren.
