He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gladys Long (Bower) and Albert Douglas Long; his wife Janet Long (Griffin); his children, George E. Long, Jr. (Debbie) and Susan Long Ray (Tom); his grandchildren, Benjamin Long, Jennifer Hummel, Thomas Ray, IV and Dr. Sarah Ray; his great grandchild Kaylee Hummel; and his stepgreat-grandson Marc Marshall.
