He was predeceased by: his parents, Emanual Bonatsakis and Sterie Bonatsakis (Limvitakis); his wife Kallie; his son Michael; his grandson George; his siblings, Maria, Eleni and Spero; and his sister-in-law Antonia Bonatsakis.
He is survived by: his daughter Elaine Tsakiris; his grandchildren, John Tsakiris, Dimitri Bonatsakis and Kara Tsakiris; his great grandchild Kaleigh Tsakiris; his brother Nick; his sister-in-law Niki Bonatsakis; and his nieces and nephews, Maria (John Hatzidimitriou), Michael, Joanne Bonatsakis, Sterie, Demetri Pachis, Rose, Peter Vouthounes, Athena, Dale Spencer, Nick and Caroline Stevas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Hartford.
