He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl S Sawyer and Gertrude Sawyer (Doliber); his brother Richard Sawyer; and his brother-in-law Paul Fitzgibbons. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Sawyer (Ziegler); his daughters, Margaret Sawyer and Elizabeth Krueger (Sean); his grandsons, Jackson and Maxwell; and his siblings, Carl D. Sawyer (Ava), Elizabeth Fitzgibbons, Mary Sawyer (William Allinder), Laura Sawyer, David Sawyer (Caroline) and Peter Sawyer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
