David R. Wilcox Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David R. Wilcox Sr. of Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Wilcox and Leona Wilcox (Stitham); his children, Cheryl Russell and Mathew; his grandson Michael; and his siblings, John, Alfred, Andrew, Mary Allen and Louise Powers.
He is survived by: his wife Donna (Brooks); his former wife Miriam Malone (Rutt); his children, David Jr. (Cindi), Corrie Pizzoni, Leah Cass (Larry), Shaun Wilcox (Meghan) and Jonathan Matamala (Mitchell); his siblings, Arlene Scoville, Darryl Wilcox (Cathy), Richard Wilcox and Gerald Wilcox (Betty); and his stepchildren, John Antoniak (Natalie), Tim Leblanc (Nakita) and Tiffany Leblanc. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Brooklawn Funeral Home (511 Brook St, Rocky Hill, CT 06067).
