He is survived by: his siblings, Effie Smith, Merline McDade, Doris Glen, Libby Lee-Williams, Byron May and Veiso May; his children, Andriette Bonds, Tabatha Ward, Cleve Ward, Jr. and Teddy May; his granddaughters, Ahjah Gamble and Teonna Saunders; and his great grandchild Jabrell Thompson. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
