She is survived by: her children, Charles W. Hardy of Hartford, CT and Joy-Lynn Hardy (Wayne) of Windsor, CT; her sister Dorothy S. Saylor (Joseph) of St. Petersburg, FL; her sister-in-law Dolores Scales of Winston-Salem, NC; and her grandchildren, Raven Hardy, Charles C. Hardy, Romelle Hardy, Zana Hardy, Amyra Ettienne-Modeste, Makhi Ettienne-Modeste, Marion Edwards, Keisha Dennis, Tye Compton, Brandy Compton, Jaslyn Hardy, Chane Hardy and Glendasia Clay.
