He is survived by: his children, Keith Thornton (Michelle), Patricia Goodwin, Robert Thornton, Sandra Storey, Sharron Dickson (James) and Sharlene Thornton; and his sister Elsie May Johnson. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
