He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Riley and Mary Virginia Riley (Santone); and his sister Mary Virginia Pabis. He is survived by: his wife Romola Ann Riley (Rucci); his children, Deborah (Noel Gibilaro) of North Branford, Suzanne (Christopher Powell) of North Haven and Christopher Riley (Megan Groleau) of Hamden; his grandchildren, Ariel Fortenberry (Gibilaro), Ryan Fortenberry of Edmond, OK, Cheyenne Gibilaro of North Branford, Riley and Tanner Powell of North Haven; and his great grandchild Aliyah Rose Fortenberry. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, and brothers and sisters-in-law.
