He was loved and cherished by many people including: his former wife Bridie Mulvey Purcell; his son Brian; his caregiver Nickie Massaro; his children, Tommy, Eileen, Bridget, Susan and Noreen; and his wife Ann O'Neill Purcell. He was also cherished by 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Sisk Brothers Funeral Home (3105 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT 06518). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (2819 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT 06518).
