He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas and Rose Maselli Penna; his sister Esther DeNicola; and his wife Marie. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Zammataro (Anthony), Thomas (Joan), James (Carol), Robert and Christopher (Robin); and his grandchildren, Thomas Zammataro, Amelia Swisher, Jennifer Cofrancesco, Dylan Penna, Alan Penna and Matthew Penna. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
