She is survived by: her sons, Robert Saunders, Jr. (Chaneak) and Quintin Saunders, Sr. (Naomi) of Hamden; her grandchildren, Jordan, Robert III, Quintin Jr., Roderick, Jemaya and Cameron; her brother Gregory Williams (Rhonda) of New Haven; her nieces, Virginia, Sheeva and Stacey; her close friend Brenda Richardson-Powell; and also Bobbie Jean Saunders. She is also survived by grand-nieces, nephews and other relatives.
