He was predeceased by: his parents, John Morrissey and Mary Morrissey (McGuinness); his wife Rosemary (Moran); his daughter Elizabeth; his son-in-law Thomas Burke; his siblings, Cathleen, Regina, Eileen, Vincent and Joseph; and his half-siblings, Margarite Doyle and John Morrissey.
He is survived by: his children, Robert J. Morrissey (Helen) of Cheshire, CT, Daniel Morrissey (Laurie) of Hopkinton, NH, Mary Morrissey Burke (David Donnelly) of Avon, CT, Thomas Morrissey (Diana) of Conifer, CO, John Morrissey (Deborah) of Stonington, CT, Laurie McGinley (Robert) of Chester, CT and Patrick Morrissey (Sandy) of Boulder, CO.; and his grandchildren, Ryan Morrissey, Brendan Morrissey, Erin Vanden Borre, Megan Morrissey, Jessica Burke, Owen Morrissey, Caitlyn Bell, Sean Morrissey, Seamus McGinley, Daniel McGinley and Rosemary Morrissey. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
