He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Post; his parents, Joseph Post and Rose Post (Wotman); and his siblings, Leonard and Leatrice.
He is survived by: his sons, Albert Post (Patricia Compagnone-Post) and Todd Post; his granddaughters, Emily Post (Kyle Knutson) and Elizabeth Post; his siblings, Laura, Barbara, Arthur and Franklin; and his close friend Isabell Kratochvil. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Burial with Military Honors will take place on Friday, December 23, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at the Calverton National Cemetery, Wading River, NY 11792 (MEET DIRECTLY AT THE CEMETERY).In lieu of flowers, consider donating to United States Veterans Initiative (usvets.org, donations are tax-deductible).
