He is survived by: his significant other Jan Price Schlau of Beaufort, SC; his brother Bill Schlau (Karen) of Covington, LA; his sons, Scott Schlau of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Ben Schlau (Miriam) of Los Angeles, CA; his granddaughters, Clara and Frida; his stepdaughter Jennie Crider (Charlie); and his stepgrandchild Hayden.
