He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Widmayer and Jeanne Widmayer. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Whalen-Widmayer; his sisters-in-law, Sheila Deslaurier, Josephine Whalen, Sara Whalen and Stacy Whalen-Kelley; and his nieces and nephews, Kaj-Hart Frasier, Tiffany Holden, Ashley Holden, Rory Kelley, Lilli Kelley, Keith Frasier, Kent Frasier, Cameron Deslaurier, Nathan Duffy and Matthew Duffy. He is also survived by eight great nieces and nephews.
