Julius Fabrini wrote a sympathy message

“Rich was my friend for 50 years. He was an amazing person, nice to everyone and full of warmth and humor. I met him at Central Connecticut State College and we were dormitory roommates. I'm going to miss our talks about radio stations of yesteryear and his sharp, funny wit. Goodbye Rich. I'll see you on the other side.”
