With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Luz Bermudez of Hamden, Connecticut, who passed away on March 8, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Rodríguez and Justina Hernández Rodríguez; her children, Sandra DeSousa and Edwin Hernández; and her grandchildren, George Cruz and Angeliz DeSousa.
She is survived by: her children, Evangeline Rivera, Angela Marrero of New Haven, Luz Santiago of Portland, OR and Radames García of New Haven; and her siblings, Epifania Vega, Rosa Ojeda of New Haven, Maria Maldonado of Spring Hill, FL, Genoveva Hernández of Providence, RI, Juan Hernández (Carmen) and Pablo Hernández (Nereida) of New Haven. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
