With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Louise E. Elengo of Hamden, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Louise left this world on January 22, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Louise may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Kurt Swanson, Sr.; and her parents, John Elengo and Rose Elengo (Bozzi). She is survived by: her daughters, Vannarose Elengo (Vanna) and June Ramos; her granddaughters, Jessamine and Veronique Lewis; her sister-in-law Phyllis Elengo; her nieces, Christina Fournier and Andrea Elengo; and her siblings-in-law, Arthur Swanson III and Mary Swanson.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sisk Brothers Funeral Home (3105 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT 06518). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (2819 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT 06518).
