He is survived by: his daughter Delesha Payne Kendrick (Victor); his stepdaughters, Tracy, Anitra Payne of New Haven, CT, Regina Jackson (Isiah) and Denise Smith; and his brothers, Raymond Brown of New Haven, CT., Charles and Linson Brown. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
