John P. Monahan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 23, 2024, at the age of 90, John P. Monahan of Hamden, Connecticut passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John P. Monahan to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Monahan and Alice McGovern Monahan; his sister Alice Monahan Roach; and his siblings-in-law, Rachel Bacchiocchi and Jack Franco.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille Monahan; his children, Patrick J. Monahan II, Ann Diana and Kathy Monahan; his grandchildren, Katie Monahan, Gregory Monahan, Jack Diana and Megan Diana; his great grandchild Luca Levi Monahan; his sister Mary Monahan Miller; his brother-in-law Jack Roach; his grandson Gianni; and also, Dr. Rich Diana and John Baglivo.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 28th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. (11 Wooster Pl, New Haven, CT 06511). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, November 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Rita Church (1620 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT 06517). A Mass will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 1:15 PM at the All Saints Cemetery (700 Middletown Ave, North Haven, CT 06473).
