He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Stempick, and Mae Norwood Stempick, Sr.; his son John J. Stempick III; and his sibling Joan-Mary Strianese. He is survived by: his wife Rachel "Raye" Maiolo Stempick; his children, Kathleen Lawton, Dominick Artusa, Dawn Steller and Dean Artusa; and his sister Nancy Pettinicchi. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
