He is survived by: his children, Kenneth (Vanessa) of Georgia, Dennis (Tasha) of New Haven, CT, Vance Soloman (Carmen) of New Haven, CT, Darrell Bellamy (Theresa) of New Haven, CT, Marilyn Grimes of East Haven, Angela Pemberton (Jackie) of New Haven, Cynthia McCoy-Jackson (Clarence) of Hamden, LaShawn McCoy-Nobles (Tony) of New Haven, Tyrone and Rodney Johnson; his siblings, Thelma King of Rocky Mount, NC, Barbara Duncan, Donna McCoy-Roberts (Jerold), Nina Hawkins of Wilson, NC, Mary Lucas of Charlotte, NC. and Alphonza McCoy of Wilson, NC; and his caregiver Romona McCoy Mayo.
