He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa Cavalier Amendola; his parents, Frank Amendola and Maria Arena Amendola; and his siblings, Mary Corso, Fannie Sagnella, Louise Pisano, Madeline Manzo, Andrew and Frank "Junie" Amendola.
He is survived by: his children, Gregory F. Amendola of Bethany, Mary Rose Amendola and Richard "Ricky" Amendola of West Haven; his grandchildren, Christine Conroy (Mike Flannery), Jennifer Conroy (Chuck Turic), Grace Ibsen and Alfred Ibsen; and his great grandchild Alana Turic.
