He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond K. Spencer and Mildred Delsole Spencer. He is survived by: his wife Helen Emmons Spencer; his children, John Spencer (Susan) of North Haven, CT and Kathleen May (Paul) of Forest, VA; his grandchildren, Kristen, Lauren, Kevin Spencer, Jessie, Jamie and John May; and his sister Roberta Warfield of Cheshire. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and innumerable friends.
