Gerard E. Bessette Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerard E. Bessette of Hamden, Connecticut, born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 5, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Bessette and Rhea Couture Bessette; and his siblings, George (Paul Bessette), Annette Slatenhofen and Claire Gladu (Cecile Patryn).
He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Anthony Bessette and Michael Gerard Bessette (Rachael); his grandsons, Aiden, William and Phillip Bessette; and his siblings, Albert Bessette (Joan) and Priscilla Boyce (Joseph). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
