He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Funaro Keyes; his parents, Everett M. Keyes, and Martha Lendroth Keyes, Sr.; his granddaughter Mary Ellen Riccio; his great grandchild Joseph Gibson; and his sisters, Eleanor Stopkoski and Muriel Marinara.
He is survived by: his children, Judith Gibson (William) and Robert Everett (Lydia) of Hamden; and his grandchildren, Matthew Gibson, Michael Gibson (Jill), Catherine Gibson, Susan Zadrozny (John) and Carolyn Gibson. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and fifteen great- great-grandchildren.
