She was predeceased by: her parent Shukrey Shia; and her siblings, Anna Shia Adams, William Shia, Edward Shia, Alice Shia Bundy, Elizabeth Shia Murray and Jeanette Shia.
She is survived by: her parent Hesney Ghazel Shia; her children, John J. Riordan (Kathleen) of Killingworth, Mark E. Riordan (Kathleen) of Cheshire and Carolyn Thalken (Curtis) of Warner, NH; her grandchildren, Cory, Tyler Riordan, Caitlin Thalken Gray and Chelsea Thalken; and her great grandchildren, Riley and Caiden Gray.
