He was predeceased by: his parents, Ettore Valente and Grace Pizza Valente; and his siblings, Ann Valente, Connie Rubino, Louise Ramadei, Theresa Manzi, Mary Valente, Michael, Frank, Armond, Romeo and Salvatore Valente.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine DeCrescenzo Valente of Hamden; his children, Lisa Cambisaca (Wilson) of Hamden and Robert Valente (Dolores Romaniello) of West Haven; and his grandchildren, Ashley and Brian Cambisaca.
