It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Emily M. Bykowski of Hamden, Connecticut, who passed away at the age of 97, on February 17, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Myjak and Mary Najduch Myjak; her husband Raymond; and her siblings, Stella Myjak Lucas, Josephine Rybacki (Dziu Dziu), Vera Myjak Sommer, Jeanne Myjak, Eleanor Myjak Dziedzic and Theodore Myjak (Teddy).
She is survived by: her children, John (Jade) and Marie (Les); her grandchildren, Meganlyn Delaney, Samantha LaMantia, Andre Bykowski, Bryan Bykowski and Jack Larrabee-Abel; and her pets, Cinnamon, Lil Mick and Luna.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home (1022 Dixwell Ave, Hamden, CT 06514). A Mass will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Stanislaus Church (9 Eld St, New Haven, CT 06511).
The family has requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made to American Legion Auxiliary Past Presidents Memorial Grants/helping veterans children fund their education. (http://www.legion-aux.org).
