Emilio Montanaro Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emilio Montanaro of Hamden, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 16, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his spouse Adua Montanaro (Fidanza); his parents, Angelo Montanaro and Concetta Montanaro (Raccio); and his siblings, Onorina Marra, Aldo and Ugo Montanaro.

He is survived by: his children, Tina Maffucci (James) of Middletown, Amelia Alexander (Rob) of Oak Bluff, MA, Elena Montanaro of Hamden and Aldo Montanaro (Concetta) of Middletown; and his grandchildren, Adrianna, Isabella Maffucci, Gabriella, Massimo Montanaro, Justin and Sofia Alexander.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Therese Church (St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish) (555 Middletown Ave, North Haven, CT 06473).
