She was predeceased by: her daughter Alberta Dzubin Scharf Luciano. She is survived by: her husband Tom Van Horn; her daughter Sarah Catenza (Richard); her grandchildren, Julianna of Hamden, Carissa of Hamden and Ryan Catenza of Hamden; her sister Faye Marklinsky (David) of Hamden; her siblings-in-law, Linda Marsh (David) of Naugatuck and William Van Horn of Winter Harbor, ME; her stepmother Nancy Scharf of Deland, FL; her niece Susan DiVito (Jay) of Waterbury; and her nephew David Marsh (Andrea) of Oxford. She is also survived by several grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins.
