He is survived by: his wife Judy McHugh FitzGerald; his sons, Christopher FitzGerald (Mindy) of Naples, FL, Kevin FitzGerald (Yvonne) of Millis, MA and Timothy FitzGerald of Hamden, CT.; and his grandchildren, John, Meghan (FL), Ryan, Dillon (MA) and Jack (CT).

A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church (2819 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT 06518).
