He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Daniels and Minnie Smith Daniels; and his daughter Patricia Daniels Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Dolores M. Whitfield Daniels; his children, Leslie Lassiter and Charles Daniels Jr. (Natalie); his grandchildren, Cemal (Sheena) and Cherrese Lassiter; his great grandchildren, Cemal, Cemaya Lassiter and Saige Barrett; his sister-in-law Andrea Whitfield; and his cousin John Tyson. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, other family and friends.
