With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Andrew E. Kantra Jr. of Hamden, Connecticut, who passed away on April 2, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Kantra and Mary Kantra (Kadash); his wife Ann; his son Michael; and his siblings, Robert, Albert Kantra and Loretta Ciuffo.

He is survived by: his children, Andy Kantra (Malaine Reed), Julia Kantra Glynn (Dave Glynn) and Suzanne Kantra (Josh Kirschner); and his grandchildren, Alanna, Zach, Max Kirschner and Grace Kantra. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sisk Brothers Funeral Home (3105 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT 06518). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Cafe Amici (1640 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT 06517).
