He was predeceased by: his parents, Tejshi Shah and Laxmiben Shah. He is survived by: his wife Mrudula "Meena" Shah; his son Sachin; his daughter-in-law Sabiha; his grandchildren, Laila and Zaiden; his in-laws, Rajesh and Kalpana Saraiya; and his niece Mansi Saraiya.
