Whitney K. Brookes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Whitney K. Brookes of Haddam, Connecticut, born in Middletown, Connecticut, who passed away on September 27, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Whitney Sr. Brookes and Sybil Brookes (May); his wife Merle Brookes (Parmelee); his daughter Christine Labbe; and his siblings, Joan Marica, Thomas and William.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Brookes of Texas and Leslie Nosal (Joe) of Haddam; his son-in-law Daniel Labbe of Haddam; and his sisters, Mary Alice Matulevich (Ronni) of Haddam and Dorothy Brookes Anderson of Arizona. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
