He is survived by: his wife Vivien; and his children, Ruth (Michael) and Peter (Melanie). He is also survived by six grandchildren.

Donations in Bill's memory will be to support the Rossholme School Project in Nairobi, Kenya which helps to provide food and education to poor children.
