Shirley S. Tordo Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley S. Tordo of Guilford, Connecticut, who passed away on September 26, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marguerite Lillian Ilsley Smith and Elmer Davis Smith; her husband John; her siblings, Elizabeth Albrecht, Glenn Smith, Evelyn Anne Condon and James Smith; and her daughter-in-law Suzanne.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia Pettigrew (David) of Monroe, CT, John Jr. (Jack) of Roseburg, OR and Peter (Carol Osler) of Framingham, MA; her granddaughter Emily Atkins (James) of Amesbury, MA; her great grandchildren, Enid and Phoebe; her grandchildren, Sam of Amesbury, MA, Julia of Los Angeles, CA and Garrett of Brookline, MA; her son Michael (Lynn) of Shelton, CT; her granddaughter Jennifer Gaudio (Ben); her great grandchildren, Savannah and Benjamin of Florida; her granddaughter Jaclyn Maier (Ezekiel); her great grandchild Arthur of Kensington, MD; her grandchildren, Joshua Tordo and Haven; her stepson Eddie O'Brien of Cromwell, CT; her daughters, Peggy Brown (Russell) of Ellicott City, MD and Judi Tordo of Brownfield, ME; and her grandchildren, Juniper and Roze Schenstrom. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their children.
