He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie Botte Salzano; his parents, Gennaro Salzano and Caroline Canforo Salzano; and his siblings, Louis Salzano and Sophie Fraulo.
He is survived by: his son Richard Salzano Jr. (Barbara); his sister Annette "Chickie" Fraulo of Branford; and his granddaughters, Leah and Ava Salzano.
