She is survived by: her husband Robert A. Cairns; her sons, Matthew (Tracey) of Warwick, RI and Andrew (Carol) of Manhattan; her granddaughters, Elisabeth Cairns (Mike) of Manchester, NH and Madison Cairns Maggio (Nick) of Salem, MA; her sister-in-law Pauline Murphy of Madison; her nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Brown, Tess Morrison, Sandy Murphy, Tom Murphy, Tyler Morrison and Cape Cod; and also Kendall Farrar of Portola Valley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Episcopal Church, 11 Park St, Guilford, CT 06437; or a charity of one's choice.
