In the vast expanse of eternity, Mildred Catherine shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mildred Catherine farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Gilbert and Daisy Gilbert. She is survived by: her son Gordon Gilbert of Flushing, NY; and her sisters, Helen Gilbert, Daisy Baum of Jamaica, NY, Doris Gilbert of Augusta, GA and Joyce Collins (Harry) of Guilford, CT. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Guilford Funeral Home (115 Church St, Guilford, CT 06437).
