He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominic J. Santamaria and Rose Santamaria (DiPinto); and his siblings, Antonio, Dominic, John, Patricia and Jenny.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Santamaria (Wilson); his daughters, Sarah DeFonzo and Angela Cimino (Anthony) of Clinton; his stepchildren, David, Nick Ferris, Jose Gonzalez, Jr. (Emily) of Clinton and Sarah Archer (Ben) of New London; his grandchildren, Alexa, John Dube, Samantha DeFonzo, Anthony, Nico, Dominic, Ava Cimino, Eddie, Sam Gonzalez, Cheyla, Araceli and Ruby Archer; and his siblings, Lorenzo Santamaria (Larry) of Guilford, Marie Cullen of Georgia and Debra Bennett of New Haven. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
