It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lou Manzelli of Guilford, Connecticut, who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Mary Lou has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas Manzelli and Louise Criscuolo Manzelli; her sister Roseann; and her sibling-in-law Carmen Valentino. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Porto Funeral Home (234 Foxon Rd, East Haven, CT 06513). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
