Marianne Lochthofen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 25, 2024, at the age of 98, Marianne Lochthofen of Guilford, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Marianne had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Marianne may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hans Lochthofen and Anna Lochthofen; her fiancé John Heenan; and her brother George Schmeizl of North Haven. She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Renae, Gene, George Jr., Mark (Houry) and Graig. She is also survived by seven grandnieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Guilford Funeral Home (115 Church St, Guilford, CT 06437). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
