She was predeceased by: her husband Salvatore Distasio; her parents, John McGuire and Caroline McGuire (Cordes); and her brother James McGuire (Jim). She is survived by: her children, Susan Distasio Kelly, Stephen Distasio (Susie), Douglas Distasio (Jen) and Lauren Distasio Zuk; her grandchildren, Brian Kelly (Kierstin), Erin Kelly Manginelli (Joe), Nicola Distasio (Alex), Paul Distasio (Alicia) of Benjamin, C. J. and Braden Zuk; her great grandchildren, Kailyn, Lena, Beau, Sadie and Madilyn; her brother John McGuire (Jack); her sister-in-law Deborah McGuire; and her nephews, Kevin (Karla) and Ryan McGuire (Nicole). She is also survived by her kids became parents, she was the most supportive grammy.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. George Church (33 Whitfield St, Guilford, CT 06437).
