For Eleanor is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick McGarry and Catherine McGarry. She is survived by: her husband C. Robert Bruckmann (Bob); and her children, Barbara McCarthy (Thomas) of Fairfield, Anne French (Glenn) of Naugatuck, Joseph Bruckmann (Gail) of Shelton, Robert Bruckmann (Anne) of Salado, TX and Catherine Kallberg (Don) of Bethel. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spear Miller Funeral Home (39 S Benson Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Assumption Church (545 Stratfield Rd, Fairfield, CT 06825).
