The memory of Donald A. Dauphinais of Guilford, Connecticut, who passed away on November 24, 2024 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Camille Dauphinais and Lillian Niemi Dauphinais; his former wife Doris Garthwait; and his brothers, Lawrence and Leonard Dauphinais.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Morrissey Dauphinais; and his daughters, Karen Spurrell of Branford, CT., Susan Wilcox (Mark) of Cohasset, MA., Sally O'Brien (Tim) of Guilford, CT., Judy Cutuli (Rich) of Guilford, CT. and Elizabeth Amerling (Paul) of South Salem, NY.. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Guilford Funeral Home (115 Church St, Guilford, CT 06437). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Nut Plains Cemetery (420 Nut Plains Rd, Guilford, CT 06437). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the VFW Post #7666 (104 Mill Rd, Guilford, CT 06437).
