Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Yvonne Sousa of Groton, Connecticut, born in Tularosa, New Mexico, who passed away at the age of 86, on May 23, 2024. In the vast expanse of eternity, Yvonne shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Yvonne farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Utter and Ophelia Utter; her husband Norman F. Sousa; and her son Glen Sousa. She is survived by: her children, Norman Sousa (Kristin) of Mystic, Donald Sousa of Groton and Linda Holzschlag (Jerry) of Lisbon. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
